Community Near The Heart of Arcadia

Our Peace River area campground is one of the closest RV parks to Morgan Park, a Wonderfull place to hike and birdwatch. Also close by is Peace River Paddling Trail. Guests can enjoy fossil hunting while paddling along the trail, and just a 20-minute drive to the quirky roadside attraction Solomon's Castle in nearby Ona.

A short drive offers an endless list of outdoor recreation, including canoeing, kayaking, airboat tours, fishing, and golfing, all set against the backdrop of Old Florida cattle country.

You'll also find historic downtown Arcadia nearby, home to charming antique stores, local eateries, and the famous Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo, held every spring and fall.

This RV park is Arcadia’s best kept secret. They are SUPER nice and work hard every day to keep everything in tip-top order. The residents and seasonals are so, so nice and all seem to be happy campers! We love Craig’s RV. We are seasonal guests and love that we can reserve our spot from year to year. The weather is usually super tolerable in the winter with only a few cold nights. There are two dog parks, a walking track and activities galore! There are weekly food trucks, church service and even a small farmers market sometimes. We are close enough to our doctors - an easy drive to Sarasota and Port Charlotte. We love it here!!

As new retirees and first time Snowbirds from Ontario, we spent a full 6 months at Craig's RV Park, It was perfect for us. Park is clean quiet and well equipped. Management and staff are all A+. Short drives to anything you may need or want to do. We are returning same time this year, even the same lot. If you are looking for a "luxury" RV resort, this isn't it. However it is great value for the rates they have. See y'all soon!

We stayed for 2 months and had a great time. Everyone was very friendly and there's plenty of amenities. Very clean and well run. Good value for the money and the location is perfect for day trips to a ton of beaches. We will definitely be back!

We have been coming to Craig's RV for the past 4 years. Now we are purchasing a unit here. Office staff are very welcoming and make this place feel like home. Have made many new friends and have enjoyed the many activities and shows here. Always something to do.

Its a very nice and well groomed place to live and or have an R V and camp! They have an office for any questions you may have. Also they have a nice well kept laundry room. I believe they have 4 / 5 washers as well as dryers. In the same building they have mens and womens shower rooms available... A pool is also available....Picnic tables on every site. 4 blocks from 7 11, walgreens, McDonald's. Walmarts 1 1/2 miles. Easy access to U S 27 and not far from I 4... Hammondell has a weekly activity broad. Lets you know when bingo, shuffleboard kniting or what ever may be happening for that week available as you drive in the park. Hammondell will see that your stay is pleasant and accommodating....
